5 Heroes & Villains From Newcastle 1-2 Arsenal

4. Moussa Sissoko

A good, solid display from the newly appointed Captain in Coloccini's absence, Moussa took his second half goal superbly, making a tricky strike on a pacy ball look easy as it battered the Gallowgate net. It was his fourth goal in all competitions this season and was the catalyst for a second half performance that made the mighty attack of Arsenal, on what must be a rare occasion over a prolonged period in a game, incredibly park the bus. After a quiet few games, Sissoko's second half was reminiscent of the better performances he was putting in at the end of last year. He's yet to have any notable performance in a derby game, so hopefully this was the reminder to him that the best way to win a move to a bigger club is to prove you're a big game player in your current one (i.e. - see Yohan Cabaye vs Manchester United last season).
