5 Heroes & Villains From Newcastle 1-2 Arsenal

1. Remy Cabella

Easily his best game in a black and white shirt, Remy Cabella ran the show for his side and firmly looked like a successor to Yohan Cabaye (with the hybrid talents to beat a man like Hatem Ben Arfa). Lively from the beginning, he was the only Toon player who looked hurt after the team he was in conceded two soft goals early on and rallied the more experienced troops around him to put a fight to the Gunners. Beating men on a whim, Cabella's industry encouraged the home side that they could get something from an unlikely situation. A fantastic short passing move with Ryan Taylor saw him in an advanced position for the first time, and showing composure and poise, he found team-mate Sissoko who found the net to make it 2-1. Managing to give the Arsenal boys nightmares, Cabella found himself clipped in the box by beating Laurent Kosicelny to the ball and a clear penalty that was, wasn't given. If this is a sign of an immensely talented player finally being switched on to what the Premier League is all about then he could grow into our most important player next season.
