2. Vito Mannone
With some solid playing time earlier this season, Mannone finally got the opportunity to demonstrate what he could do. He immediately impressed me, and hes become my favorite of the Arsenal keepers. Hes probably not ready to be a #1, but with Fabianski and Szczesny fighting for the position, hell have time to prepare himself. I have no hesitation in saying hell make an impact in the future. Hes a smart keeper and a dedicated player, and thats exactly what Arsenal needs. With Wenger obviously unwilling to fully trust any of his current keepers, Mannone has an opportunity to show himself as a competitor in the box. If a new big-name goalie comes in this summer, it could mean a long wait for playing time. I hope that Vito keeps fighting it out at the Emirates. They need the depth that he offers in situations like they had earlier this year, where he needed to step up and he did so impressively. He's got the hands and awareness to make a huge difference as Arsenal searches for a trophy.
