1. Jack Wilshere
Its been a long road for Jack Wilshere. After his longterm injury, all eyes were locked on him to see how he performed. He has certainly made a comeback; he is a fierce, aggressive midfielder and he brings an energy that Arsenal needs. Pegged by many, including Arsene Wenger, as a future skipper, Jack will undoubtedly have a huge effect on the future of the football club. Hes passionate and driven, and hes anxious to play every game. Thats a quality the Gunners can use. Jack's willingness to fight for his place in the team and come back after such a long time with such good form show that if and when he is made captain, he'll take the responsibility seriously and confidently. He is probably the easiest to assume great things from in the future. He's well-loved at Arsenal and his time learning from Cesc Fabregas gives him an advantage against nearly any other midfielder. It's wonderful that Wilshere has reached such quality at such a young age; he will be leading the Gunners for a long time to come. The next few years will be crucial in Arsenals history. There are two ways to go: reclaim a spot at the top of the table or fade further down the ranks. I think well find that the club still has some of that old fight we all love. Knowing Arsenal, the journey will be both stressful and gloriously entertaining, and I cant wait.
