It's always very difficult to project how strikers will perform before the season has started, so some perform while others do not. After already reviewing some of the ones that haven't delivered; it's time to have a little look at some of the ones that have. Now, this is not merely a look at the top scoring strikers within the Premier League, but more of a look at those that have exceeded expectations. This can be for a variety of reasons like being new to the EPL after being signed from a different league such as the Championship or a foreign league. It may also include players that were here last season, but maybe didn't deliver to the standard that we would have liked. Thinking about the possible selections there is certain a number of potential options. My selections will be a combination of personal opinion and utilising data from Who Scored. The key for any of the players mentioned here is to sustain their form between now and the end of the season. As ever, the job is currently only half done.
