5 Reasons Why Chelsea Won't Win The Premier League

1. Away Form Can Let Them Down

The only games the club have lost in the league this season have both come away from home, and one of two draws came away at Tottenham, Hotspur, and the team's poor away form could turn into a huge problem. Victories against Southampton where the team looked quite impressive are balanced out by a couple of poor displays against Newcastle and Everton, and with the league only 13 games old, the losses could easily be added to over the course of the season and could ultimately cost them in their quest for the trophy. This makes their busy Christmas period even harder, with a particular away game against league leaders and London rivals Arsenal in late December, coupled with a tough couple of away trips against Sunderland and Stoke coming up. The club cannot rely on their home form, which although pretty solid on the face of it has at times looked in doubt, particularly against West Brom and Man City, and it has only been luck that has seen them get points from those games. Their away form is just another factor that leads me to believe that Mourinho won't be the man to bring them the title this season depending on whether he brings many players in in the January transfer window. Only when he bring in players that are more suited to his system can he be confident in mounting a real title challenge over the next couple of seasons. The only problem being that it would require a pretty big overhaul of the squad. Do you think the Blues have a genuine shot at the title? Can Mourinho bring them glory?
