5 Reasons Why Roberto Martinez Will Be The Next Arsenal Manager

3. Proven Track Record Of Doing Well With Every Club He's Coached

Martinez is an anomaly in the sense that he is a foreigner who fell in love with the English game to the extent where he never coached in his native Spain before branching out and attempting to prove himself elsewhere. Although many coaches have since followed suit, such as Gus Poyet and Paolo Di Canio, it is still very rare that this happens, and he has succeeded at every club he has been at in England's top three divisions. He won promotion with Swansea, and kept an extremely unfashionable side in the Premier League with Wigan, and in his final year at the DW Stadium managed to get his hands on the FA Cup. With the clubs he has been at, he really made an impression despite being the same age of some of his players, showing his authority and ability to get the best out of the players he has worked with. It is unlikely that the 40-year-old will leave England any time soon, and a move further up the English ladder could be his if he continues with his meteoric rise with the Toffees.
