1. Its Only A Game
That may be a controversial statement, but its true. It has probably provided some of the greatest moments in your life, as it has in mine. But it is nothing more than entertainment and should be treated that way. There is nothing that happens in football that should ever have a detrimental effect on any fan. For me, this is the number one thing that some people do not understand about football. Take it less seriously and it is far more enjoyable. There are far more important things in life.
