I have to confess a slight bias here - Sandro is probably my favourite person in the world. He's an effortlessly funny, charismatic, samba-dancing, kung-fu kicking, guitar-strumming, darts-playing hero of a man. Type "funny Sandro" and I can guarantee a couple of hours' entertainment. As a character off the pitch, he makes Mario Ballotelli look like James Milner. Of course a couple of funny Youtube videos doesn't mean Sandro should start every week. Fortunately, Sandro is as much a presence on the pitch as he is off it. When it comes to dealing with the ugly stuff of the game - crucial blocks, crunching tackles and match-saving interceptions, Sandro is one of the best around. Quite simply, when Sandro is on form, the opposition won't score goals. With every match he brings a never-say-die attitude that inspires the rest of the team. It's this mentality that makes him such a valuable asset to Spurs.
