At the start of the season Lennon felt very much like the forgotten man of the club, with most eyes on new wingers Nacer Chadli and Erik Lamela, not to mention England's new great hope Andros Townsend. But in recent displays against Manchester United, Fulham and Sunderland the 26-year-old has reminded fans how good he can be. After a couple of unsuccessful outings on the left, Lennon is back on the right flank where he belongs. Lennon is most often criticised for the lack of end-product in his game - after eight years at White Hart Lane, his goals and assists totals in the lilly-white make for disappointing reading. But there's more to his game than that. His electric pace is a tool Spurs have made good use of for a number of seasons, and even in AVB's fancy new system it has its place - just look how much trouble Azza gave Evra in the United game, stretching their defence again and again. Then there's his sterling defensive work-rate, often over-looked. Finally, the last couple of seasons has seen him develop strong chemistry with Walker - at their best, they seem to have a telepathic connection, knowing each other's movement and helping each other going forward and back. Though AVB and his team might have selection headaches in other areas, the right side of the team picks itself.
