6 Predictions For UFC Fight Night: Dillashaw Vs. Cruz

4. Ross Pearson Vs. Francisco Trinaldo

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OO64MTVArXQ Weight Class: Lightweight Like Tim Boetsch, Ross "The Real Deal" Pearson (18€“9 (1) hasn't had the easiest go of late, trading wins and losses over his last six fights. That all started with a robbery of a split decision loss to Diego Sanchez where the UFC actually awarded Pearson a win bonus. He is coming off a win against Paul Felder, but there's always a "but" with Pearson these days, and in this case, it's Francisco Trinaldo. Trinaldo has won four straight in the UFC, including three fights in 2015. He's coming off a TKO win over the hard-hitting Chad Laprise (18€“4), and will be looking to utilize that momentum against Pearson. Trinaldo has the edge in the submission department, while they're fairly evenly matched on the feet, at least on paper (Trinaldo is a black belt in kickboxing, Pearson in Taw Kwon-Do). Both fighters are gritty warriors with a lot of heart, but look for Trinaldo to pick up a decision victory as Pearson's struggles will likely continue.
