6 Predictions For UFC Fight Night: Dillashaw Vs. Cruz
5. Patrick Côté Vs. Ben Saunders
Weight Class: Welterweight Former middleweight title challenger Patrick Cote's second run in the UFC has gone much smoother than his first, and he's now 5-2 since returning to the promotion in 2012. Cote (229) has found new life at welterweight, and is coming off an impressive stoppage win over Josh Burkman, becoming in the process the first fighter to ever knock Burkman out. At UFC Fight Night 81, Cote meets a game opponent in former Bellator tournament finalist Ben Saunders (1962), who enters the bout on a three-fight win streak, most recently with a split decision win over Kenny Robertson. Cote might have the more well-rounded game by a slight margin, and has faced a higher level of competition in his career, being the first man to take Anderson Silva past the first round in the UFC. He's also coming in off the Fight of the Night win over Burkman, which gives him the edge here. Look for a decision win from Cote.
