8 Best Beards In Football History

3. Tim Howard

Yeovil Town v Huddersfield Town - Sky Bet Championship

The American may be in the twilight of his career (having recently joined Colorado Rapids in the MLS), but he leaves a successful CV in England behind him.

He originally joined Manchester United from New York and although it didn't quite work out for him at United, he spent ten years at Goodison Park as Everton's number one, this being no mean feat. In his final season at Everton, Howard must have thought to the hell with it, I'm just not going to shave.

His lack of hair up top is fully compensated by his impressive beard below. In fact, when his football career comes to an end, perhaps he can get a job in the WWE as a new memeber of the Wyatt family.
