Owen Humphreys/PA Archive/Press Association ImagesFor a long time, confusion reigned on the true familial link between flamboyant, and occasionally terrible attacker Lomana Lua-Lua and whippet-quick Kazenga, with initial reports suggesting that the pair were either cousins or uncle and nephew, but eventually Lomana confirmed that the now Brighton winger is indeed his younger brother. Lomana signed for the club in 2000 having scored 21 goals in 68 appearances for Colchester, and though he was in and out of the first team, he did bring some memorable moments thanks to his iconic flipping celebration (which made 9 appearances in his four years at the club) and his uncanny ability to skin an entire team and then forget what to do with the ball, before he left for Portsmouth. Tony Marshall/EMPICS SportKazenga meanwhile made just 8 appearances for the Magpies, around loan periods at Doncaster and Brighton, with his most notable impact coming when he earned a penalty in Newcastle's 2-2 draw at the end of the 2011 season with Chelsea, before he moved permanently to Brighton. The pair also have other cousins in football, as Yannick Bolasie and Tresor Kandol are both said to be related. Who knows what their real relationships actually are.
