1. Boules
Whilst not being the most fast-paced sport out there, boules does require a lot of skill and concentration. Featured as a guest sport in the 1900 games, boules is comparable to events in both the Winter and Paralympic games. Curling has featured in the Winter Olympics since 1998, with boccia being a variant of boules that was specially designed for people with severe disabilities, and has been competed in the Paralympics since 1984. Considering the fact that these two sports have been included for some time, it would make sense for boules to be given its own Olympic spot. Whilst boules may not boast the fastest or the strongest athletes in the world, featuring it in the Olympics would ensure that the games continues to be about all types of sport, not just the big showpiece events.
