Arsenal: 10 Things Arsene Wenger Must Achieve Before 2017

10. Beat Mourinho

Mourinho has been Wenger€™s nightmare and milestone crusher from the moment he called himself "the special one" as he wiped Wenger€™s smile off in his 500th and 1000th games in charge with victory. The two have argued continuously when the Portuguese wizard has been back with the Premier League outfit, and with Mourinho winning the latest verbal exchanges after claiming Wenger was a €œspecialist in failure€. Being undefeated against a manager in 11 meetings is no fluke: Mourinho is a tactical genius who does whatever it takes to win. Arsene Wenger however believes in playing attacking, adventurous football who will never park the bus to get a result, to his eternal cost against Jose. The manager must realise that sometimes in football you need that bus across your own half and many of Wenger€™s sides throughout the years have come to find out that Mourinho€™s sides are tough to break down. When Wenger€™s side eventually defeats Mourinho€™s Chelsea, the victory will signify Arsenal€™s progression and redemption of not falling to pieces against top opposition.
