Low's impressive track record as Germany manager since he took over from Jurgen Klinsmann in 2006, reads: Euro 2008 runners-up, third-place finish at the 2010 World Cup, Euro 2012 semi-finalists, 2014 World Cup winners and Euro 2016 semi-finalists.

And his successed aren't limited to International stage. Club-wise, he led VfB Stuttgart to German Cup success in 1997 and to the European Cup Winners' Cup final the following year, where they lost 1-0 to Chelsea.

Under his tenure, Germany play a brand of dynamic and expansive attacking football that culminated in the humiliating 7-1 defeat of tournament hosts Brazil at the 2014 World Cup semi-final. Although Low may have signed a contract extension, which takes him beyond Euro 2020, Arsenal have nothing to lose should they enquire about his availability.
