12. Laurent Blanc

Blanc began his managerial career at Bordeaux in 2007 and won the French league and cup double in his second season. He then went on to have a brief stint managing his native France between 2010 and 2012, leading them to the quarter-finals at Euro 2012.

Despite winning 11 of the 12 French domestic trophies on offer during his three-year spell at PSG between 2013 and 2016, it was his perceived failure of being unable to get them beyond the Champions League quarter-finals each time that eventually cost him his job.

Someone who has enjoyed tremendous success and is readily available at the moment, Blanc will be back managing sooner rather than later and Arsenal would do well to continue their famed French connection by offering him that chance.
