1. Make Theo Walcott Justify His Salary
For years Arsenal have been criticised for their so called socialist wage structure, with the difference between the clubs top and bottom earners being much smaller than that of their rivals, but Theo Walcotts new £100,000 a week (
according to the BBC) contract demonstrates a clear change in strategy. For once Wenger has appeared to bite the bullet in a bid to keep one of his star players and now it is up for Walcott to justify the Frenchmens faith in his ability. There is no denying that on his day Theo Walcott is capable of winning any football match, the issue Gunners fans have is that the day does not come often enough. With only 12 league games left, now is the time for Walcott to prove his worth. The Englishman has the talent to single-handedly drag Arsenal over the line and if he does, he will be worth every penny. It's up to Wenger to help and allow him to do so.
