Arsenal: 5 Reasons Arsene Wenger MUST Go, NOW

1. No Trophies!

Arsenal-everton When it comes down to it, results matter in football. While I generally believe that clubs should show a little more loyalty to their managers instead of discarding them like yesterday€™s newspapers, I think the Arsenal board has shown a little too much loyalty to Wenger. From 1996 to 2005, he won Arsenal 11 trophies €“ a remarkable achievement. But the cold, hard, truth now is that from 2005 to the present, there is nothing to be shown for Arsenal€™s efforts. They possess the talent to win trophies, but when it has really mattered, they have just failed to do so, and one has to question the player€™s confidence in their manager, as well as Wenger€™s confidence in himself. Arsenal find themselves declining on a steady downhill slope, and that is not going to change with Wenger in charge. I admit that a new manager might not guarantee success, but it may well re-invigorate the players enough to start performing better.
