Arsenal Next Manager: 10 Replacements For Arsene Wenger
2. Joachim Low
Germany's World Cup winning coach Joachim "Jogi" Low is set to lead his side to Euro 2016 in France this summer and after having come so close at previous European Championships (runner up in 2008, third place in 2012) he will want to add the European crown to 2014's World Cup victory. Not much is known about Low's post-tournament plans. If Germany do bring home the trophy, he might be tempted to leave on a high - after all, there would be nothing more left to win at international level. And if it goes badly, well, he might decide to call it a day anyway. He's led Germany since 2006 and was the assistant to Jurgen Klinsmann before that; he could decide a change of scenery and a return to club management might be in order. If Arsenal are looking for a manager to really get the best out of their most creative asset Mezut Ozil then surely Low is the man to call. In addition to that his Germany side play attractive, tactically flexible football and it seems unlikely that his Arsenal side would be as wedded to one style as Wenger is to 4-2-3-1. The only downside to Low is that his club management career before Germany was pretty ordinary, and Phil Scolari's toils at Chelsea proved that winning a World Cup does not necessarily mean you can cut it in the Premier League. Still, his trust in youngsters that has been evident during his time with Germany would be welcome at Arsenal, and he could be a good low risk, relatively low cost appointment.
