2. Diego Costa
Diego Costa is a man on fire at the moment, with the Atletico Madrid star netting 21 goals in as many appearances for the Spanish club this season. The prodigious 25-year-old has also banged in 17 La Liga goals in 16 appearances and as such, has found himself on Arsenal's wishlist this winter. However, given his amazing form in front of goal, the Spain international isn't coming cheaply, with the Gunners
quoted £32 million according to recent reports. Arsene Wenger has sent scouts to watch the on-fire forward in action in the run-up to the Christmas break, but may have to do battle with London rivals Chelsea, who also maintain an interest. Costa's release clause is a hefty one, but having come in for criticism recently over the lack of 'marquee players' coming into the club, Wenger could be tempted to splash the cash as he looks to cement his title challenge in the New Year. Brazil-born Costa was granted Spanish nationality back in October after a tug of war between the two nations,
much to the fury of A Seleção coach Luiz Felipe Scolari.
