5. Rene Adler

ReneAdler One option for Arsene Wenger if he is looking for a new No.1 goalkeeper ahead of the new Premier League season is Hamburger's Rene Adler. Though he has been unsuccessful in his efforts to displace Manuel Neuer as German's No.1 goalkeeper, Adler has been a club captain at all levels of international competition thanks to his big personality and it is hoped he would be able to whip a sometimes frail Arsenal defence into shape. Commended for his quick reflexes and strength, he has drawn comparisons to former Gunner Jens Lehmann.
