5. Iker Casillas
Arsenal look almost certain to sign a new goalkeeper in the summer after manager Arsene Wenger banished incumbent No.1 Wojciech Szczesny to the wilderness recently. The Polish international has only played two games since the Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich back in March and has only found himself back in contention recently thanks to injury to Lukasz Fabianski. Relations between player and manager have been frayed recently by comments made by the player's father
that he is being mistreated at the club. Now Wenger is prepared to enter the market for a new No.1 and he
has identified Real Madrid's Iker Casillas as Szczesny's ideal replacement, who is similarly on the fringes at the Bernabeu. The Spanish international is no longer first choice at Madrid having lost his place to January newcomer Diego Lopez, and Arsenal need a quality, experienced goalkeeper to help shore up what has been a fragile back four this season.
