4. Gonzalo Higuain
Higuain is arguably one of the greatest strikers in the world, with over 100 Real Madrid goals to his name at only 24 years of age. He has been an key feature of the Argentinian national team since 2009 scoring 13 goals in blue and white, yet he must still compete with Karim Benzema for a starting place at his club. For this reason a move away to a club such as Arsenal, where he would be a regular in the starting 11, while still retaining a place in Europe's premier competition, the Champions League, and playing in one of the continents top leagues every week, may be attractive. Although, a hefty offer would be required in order to convince Real Madrid, who have no reason to sell, to sell the Argentine striker. There is no doubt that Higuain has the potential to provide adequate replacement for Van Persie, due to his wealth of experience at the top level and his potential to grow into an even greater player than he currently is.
