3. Stevan Jovetic
The man dubbed by many as the next Roberto Baggio has attracted the attentions of many of Europe's top clubs, due to his impressive technical qualities. He is the target of English champions Manchester City who were told by Fiorentina that an offer of £25 million would be needed to acquire his services. The player himself appears open to a move and considering that his 14 goals were unable to prevent Fiorentina limping to a below par 13th place in 2011/12 Serie A, it is understandable that a player of this quality may wish to transfer to a club in a stronger position. The Montenegrin, who has netted 10 goals for his national side, is heading for a 3rd successive season without European football of any kind, with a club rapidly sliding down the Italian top flight. The lure of a European giant, like Arsenal, may prove too much to withstand and the only obstacles which appear to stand in the way of a deal are, the fee, which would make Jovetic the clubs record signing, and Manchester City, who are likely to comfortably outbid the Gunners if Mancini is serious about bagging his man.
