Cardiff City: 5 Craziest Things Vincent Tan Has Done

1. Blue To Red

Z Cardiff By far the most prominent and high profile decision from the Malaysian boss was changing the teams kit and emblem in order to match his preferences. The teams blue kit was replaced by red, quite a big change on the colour spectrum. On top of this the badge was also modified. In came a dragon and the iconic bluebird was given just a minor appearance on the new design. From now on, the bluebirds would be red. A highly controversial move was defended by Tan as it made the club more appealing to international markets, which demonstrates where his ties truly lie. Though the club may be more appealing in red investors may be scared off as Tan is clearly a lunatic. In one swift move he altered years of history. As football fans we are tied close with our heritage and it is something we keep very dear to us. Every team has their memories and heroes, all of which appeared in a colour that identifies your football club. Tan decided to change that, he stole Cardiff's identity. It's been a year and a half since this change and still people are annoyed by it, which is entirely fair. This should never have been allowed to happen and Cardiff are rightly annoyed by it all. It's by far the most crazy thing Vincent Tan has done during his time at Cardiff.
