Another dream centre-back option to one day replace the ageing Terry is Fabian Schar of FC Basel. Chelsea know all too well what a talent Schar is, with the 22-year-old starring against them in each of Basel's two wins over the Blues earlier this season. The prodigious defender is wanted by Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan, according to reports, which just goes to show how highly regarded he is. A centre-half not afraid to contribute to the attack in a similar way to David Luiz, Schar has scored three times for his native Switzerland in his last five appearances. The necessity for Mourinho to sign someone like Schar is made all the more relevant by the fact the aforementioned Luiz could be on his way out. European heavyweights Barcelona and Bayern Munich have both shown interest in the Brazilian, and Schar would make for a more than able replacement.
