Chelsea Transfers: 10 DREAM Signings Jose Mourinho Could Make This Month

3. Diego Costa

Chelsea's problems up front are there for all to see this season. Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto'o have only managed four and three Premier League goals apiece while Demba Ba has just the one solitary league goal to his name. It has been up to the midfielders to get the goals this season and luckily for the Blues the likes of Eden Hazard and Oscar have shone, but they may not get away with that forever. It's obvious Mourinho needs a new striker and another option is Atletico Madrid's Diego Costa. Costa has scored an astonishing 23 goals in as many appearances this season including 19 out of 17 La Liga outings to fire Madrid (not Real, for a change) into second. His ferocious goals return make him one of the most coveted strikers in Europe with Arsenal said to be keen on the brilliant Brazilian. Chelsea too are interested and are weighing up the possibility of activating the sensational striker's £32 million release clause this month. Costa would undoubtedly bring the goals to Stamford Bridge and cure the drought and could even be the difference in this season's title race.
