2. New Didier Drogba?
Ever since Didier Drogba departed Stamford Bridge for Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua last summer, Chelsea have been missing a strong powerhouse of a centre-forward who has the ability to hold up the ball or force a way through a crowd of defenders. Fernando Torres, after all, isn't the more robust of strikers. In Demba Ba, a player who stands at an imposing 6ft 2, Chelsea may have signed a player with similar abilities and attributes to Drogba. Ba will be a much more troubling prospect for the Blues' rivals to deal with from set pieces and corners than Torres and Sturridge ever were, which gives Chelsea more attacking options going forward again.
