1. Marco Streller
Standing at 6ft 5ins, the Swiss target man has the presence and skill to cause problems for any defence. Although he was not at his best last time he came up against Chelsea, he will be keen to rectify that, and he has been in good form so far this season, scoring 4 goals and assisting 2 in 5 games.
Although he is not the quickest, he is exceptional at holding the ball whilst using his height to his advantage, and this invites Basel's talented to press up the pitch, this can be a dangerous combination. Chelsea's defence will have to make sure that they do not allow Streller to get into any good positions, he is a good finisher of the ball, and the in-form striker will be brimming with confidence. A high defensive line could be the answer to keep Streller and his lack of pace quiet, although this could also be dangerous tactic due to the pace of Basel's wingers, which will provide a dilemma for Chelsea.
