1. Celtic F.C
The green and white outfit in Glasgow are the current SPL champions and have recently been linked with former gang member, rapper, entertainer turned football coach, Snoop Dogg (or Snoop Lion as he insists to be called now) - who made public his interest in the club, and
his intentions to invest and add friend Beckham to the squad. The former Real Madrid players friendship with Snoop Dogg might lead to a last chapter in Beckhamania being unfolder in Glasgow. Even if it seems improbable, the antics of investors in the modern game has showed how the unexpected should be expected any moment, with the Super club model on the rise. Celtic manager Neil Lennon has welcomed the entertainers interest in Celtic and has even joked about approving the latters interest only if he was invited to one of Snoops parties. As long as I got invited to one of his parties, it would be OK, the Celtic manager told the
Scotsman. However unlikely it might be for Beckham to play in Scotland, the expectations will not be any easy - with The Hoops being one of the top clubs of the SPL and the defending champions. Scotland would leave Beckham closer to home - which comes as a strong consideration in regards to his future. The prospect of adding the SPL medal to his CV in May might also be as a motivating factor to the midfielder.
