David Beckham's Next Club: 5 Challenges To Finish His Career

3. Paris Saint Germain

The French capital€™s most notable club has turned into the Manchester City of Paris with financial power backed by their Arab owners. Paris seems likely to be part of a sentence easily digested by Victoria, but would the Englishman choose to end his career in France? The fashion icons the Beckhams have turned into over the years gives them the upper hand in terms of cultural integration, as Paris is known to embrace aestheticism, celebrities and fashion. Since Carlo Ancelotti€™s appointment as manager, the blue and red outfit have seen quality and belief restored in the game at the Parc des Princes. Should Beckham decide to pack his bags for France, he would join Joey Barton, another former Premier league player who joined up with Marseilles on load from QPR earlier this year. According to BBC sport, PSG are among the top clubs chasing the talented midfielder and hoping to see him seal his career with them. The midfielder was previously approached by the Parisian club last November but refused to follow through for family reasons. It is understood that Beckham is not willing to sit on the bench, but wants regular first-team football €“ which might be a problem with PSG investing heavily in their squad, with younger players at their disposal. However, should be decide to join up with Ancelotti, the final chapter could be more than exciting €“ with the French club aiming for a place in Europe€™s top competition. Professional relationships with both Ancelotti and Leonardo €“ who both worked with Beckham at A.C Milan €“ could be the clincher here.
