2. Jakub Baszczykowski
The Polish captain, affectionately known as 'Kuba', is a very influential figure on the Polish camp, he certainly have his Poland team-mates stirred up, desperate to get a win for the passionate Polish fans. His pace, combined with his direct dribbling makes him a very threatening prospect for full-backs around the world. He is very unselfish, as 15 assists for Dortmund last-season can testify, which is due to his vision, and his capacity to provide a pin-point cross. His chemistry with fellow Dortmund team-mate Robert Lewandowski is a very important part of the Polish team and England will have to be very aware of this. However, the loss of his other Dortmund team-mate ukasz Piszczek (who completes the so-called 'Dortmund Trio'), to a hip-injury, will be a hindrance not only to the Polish team, but also to Baszczykowski, his link-up play with Piszczek down the right-hand-flank is a very potent combination in providing ammunition for Lewandowski. He is very powerful and will also track-back and help the defenders. Plus, he has a very good shot, as he proved at the Euros, with his goal vs Russia. If England are to succeed, they will need to shut off all the supply lines to Baszczykowski.
