Everton 3-3 Liverpool: Player Ratings

Gareth Barry: Conceded the free kick from which Suarez scored. Moved to left back when Baines injured. Difficult for him today. Still have doubt over his ability to perform in big games. 5/10. Kevin Mirallas: Jekyll and Hyde stuff from Belgian forward today. Equalised at 1-1 and assisted Lukaku's second on the positive side, but should he have been on the pitch to do the latter? Terrible challenge on Suarez was at knee height with studs showing and should've been red instead of yellow. Despite being on thin he still made foolish tackles thereafter. Hard to rate Mirallas really. 6/10.

Ross Barkley: Flashes of brilliance and skills throughout. Willing to have a go, links really well with wide players and Lukaku. Booked for diving and lost Coutinho for the opener on the other hand. Threat ebbed as he dropped deeper in second half. 6/10. Steven Pienaar: Works really well with Baines and Barkley. At fault for the Suarez free kick though as he was standing on his own rather than on end of wall. Subbed. 5.5/10. Romelu Lukaku: WhatCulture's man of the match. A fine focal point that had to play with back to goal in first half, but threat grew. Was persistent in his personal duel with Mignolet. Two goals were a deserved reward. 8/10. Subs: Gerard Deulofeu: Got 40 minutes and did plenty off the bench for Baines. Final ball and decision making still an issue with this undoubted talent. 6/10. John Stones: Came on to see out last few minutes, but Everton conceded again. Rating N/A. Leon Osman: A late cameo. Rating N/A.
