The Scottish forward has been linked with a step up to the Premier League for years now. Some may argue that if he was good enough he would have been snapped up by now, but Blackburn were probably planning on an immediate return to the top flight when they shelled out £8m, a record signing outside the top level, in 2012. With 27 goals last season, and 16 already this time around, his reputation has not dimmed one bit. Everton would probably have to pay much more than Blackburn did Huddersfield to secure Rhodes' services, and for a player with no top-flight experience and an undistinguished international career it may be a bit of a long shot, but Rhodes has an eye for goal that belongs in the Premier League, along with a good aerial ability. Nay-sayers would suggest that Rhodes doesn't do much when not scoring, but predatory instincts are priceless, and even Lukaku, for all the qualities he brings, is not a pure finisher. He bases his game on strength and power, while Rhodes is more of a goal-poacher, but one that could make it in the Premier League. It would be a surprise to see Everton make a move for the Scot, but there is no reason why it wouldn't be a success. Will any of these five make a move to Goodison this summer? If not them, who?
