Every Conor McGregor UFC Fight Ranked From Worst To Best
9. Donald Cerrone
Where: UFC 246
While not his shortest fight, this was another quick outing in the octagon that was over before it could barely begin. McGregor returned after 15 months away from the cage and decimated record-holding veteran Donald Cerrone in just 40 seconds.
Cowboy didn't register a single strike, attempting a lone head kick that was swatted away with ease by McGregor, who in return landed 20 strikes nearly entirely to the head of his opponent. Referee Herb Dean almost let it run a little longer than it should have, finally stopping the onslaught with four minutes and 20 seconds still left in the very first round.
The Notorious One surprised many, Cerrone in particular, with a series of heavy shots to the face using only his shoulder while in the clinch, creating enough separation to fire off a huge head kick that knocked the American down. Once on the mat, Cerrone covered up and showed little sign of getting himself out of the predicament.
And that was that.
McGregor's impressive return stands as his final fight to date, but it's unlikely this will be the last chapter in his UFC saga.
