"Don't call me arrogant, because what I'm saying is true. I think I am a special one."

We all should known after that iconic press conference that we were about to witness one of the greatest managers in football history deliver something rather, well, special.

Mourinho, fresh off the back of shockingly winning the Champions League with Porto arrived in London and with a little help from wealthy owner Roman Abramovich, changed English football completely.

They set a record of 95 points, finished 12 points ahead of Arsenal, won 29 times and set the best defensive record of anyone, conceding just 15 goals and losing only once.

The game had changed. Until this point Ferguson's United and Wenger's Arsenal had the league in their grasp. But no more. Love or hate them, this was Mourinho and Chelsea at their best. The careers of players like Drogba, Cech, Lampard and Terry were launched into the stratosphere. The league was never the same again.
