Ok so the top four teams on this list could all be declared the winner. I've chopped and changed the order of these sides so many times while writing this. That's how good they are. In fourth I've gone with the best Manchester United team the Premier League has ever seen.

If you've been paying attention, you'll know all about the incredible squad at United's disposal from 2006-2009. They were imperious during these years and this season is where they peaked, with the loan signing of Carlos Tevez forming the deadliest front three in the league's history alongside Ronaldo and Rooney, who scored a combined 79 goals across all competitions.

The season started as it ended, with a penalty shootout win against Chelsea, earning them three pieces of silverware including the Champions League. Gary Neville labelled this the greatest Manchester United side in history and it's hard to argue otherwise.
