7. The Passing Of Time

ddsdsdss Since that first summer when some dared to dream of Gerrard playing that inch perfect pass, Suarez cuts inside, twists, turns, lays the ball back...TORRES! a year and then some has passed, but every transfer windows out come the rumours. Damien Comolli came out and stated that Liverpool had indeed enquired after Torres' availability earlier in the year before his dismissal. Then just a few months ago Torres was quoted as saying "When I heard about Hillsborough I got very emotional," before later crediting Steven Gerrard with giving him "probably the best time I have had on a football pitch." For those desiring to see El Nino pull on the red shirt again, these words suddenly sparked a new wave of possibility.

8. Where Are The Goals?

With Suarez smashing in a very respectable 15 goals at the time of writing, Liverpool seem to have a striker who can find the net, not to mention that we now have Daniel Sturridge up front too, surely Liverpool don't need Torres? Or do we? Sturridge, despite roles for Man City and Chelsea has never sustained a prolific run and massive question marks abound as to whether he has the attitude to make at the highest level. Suarez although clearly on a much higher return than previous isn't a natural finisher despite his figures. So, maybe there is room for that clinical finisher, that little Spanish flair after all. But then...
