It's always going to be difficult to emulate the work of Luis Suarez, but like the infamous Uruguayan, Benteke has a pleasing versatility when it comes to putting the ball in the back of the net. Firstly his ability in the air makes him an interesting prospect for Liverpool. As a target man style player he brings something different to Anfield which could make the team more unpredictable. While the notion of Gerrard supplying passes to Benteke will never be realised, Liverpool have several creative players who could deliver the ammunition for the Belgian. The likes of Firmino, Coutinho and Milner could certainly set up some decent chances for the striker to put away. As well as being an aerial threat he's a great finisher and he's scored some spectacular goals for Villa in the past (look up his overhead kick against Norwich). He has the necessary confidence in his own ability too. Although Benteke was rarely on set-piece duty for Villa, a crucial game against QPR last season saw the Belgian, with his team 3-2 down, grab the opportunity to bring his team level by taking and subsequently scoring a free kick.
