Football's Worst Ever Cheating Divers

4. Gareth Bale

Another mercurial and hugely talented player, but no matter how impressive a sight it is to see the Welshman taking the ball past opponents down the wing with ease, scoring goals or unlocking defences with his passing, it is incredibly frustrating to then watch him falling to the ground with minimal reason, in the hunt for penalties and free-kicks in advanced positions.

It is especially bad when he has clearly already beaten the man, and instead of taking a chance to score from open play he opts to try for a set-piece instead.
