Frank Lampard's 15 Most Memorable Chelsea Moments

12. That Goal Against Barcelona - 2006

Another outstanding goal from the Chelsea midfielder while he was out on Champions League duty. Chelsea were drawn in the same group as Barcelona and in their meeting at the Nou Camp it was Lampard who came up with something special. Chelsea fell behind to a Deco 20 yard strike, but then the Englishman took the initiative when he found himself at the by-line on the left handside, with no options in the middle. Ignoring the chance to wait for support, Lampard turned and somehow got the ball over Valdes and into the back off the net. Again, this is a goal of great quality and very different to the goals fans were used to seeing from Lampard.
