Never the most mobile, never the most talented, and never the most quick, it's hard to see what football managers keep seeing in players like Kirk Broadfoot, but the man had something that a lot of coaches love from their playing staff. Showing incredible heart, even when fans were getting on his back, during his spell at Rangers from 2007-2012, Broadfoot was a cult-like figure at times.

Ok, he didn't exactly bomb with serious speed up the side of the pitch when playing as a defensive wing back, but he always tried his best, and actually set up quite a few goals for the Ibrox club. Signed from St. Mirren as a squad player, more than anything else, Kirk forced his way into the first team picture through sheer determination.

Now, Broadfoot can be found being regularly selected for Rotherham United in the English Championship, but 'The Millers' aren't the first team in England the man has played for. Shortly after leaving Rangers in the Summer of 2012, Broadfoot signed for Blackpool, a club he claimed Rangers had nearly sold him to a few years earlier.
