640px-Liverpool_FC_players_jogging_(2) Rodgers has been promoting a Barcelona-esque style of play since his arrival, a return to the old Liverpool style of €˜pass and move€™ as well as a defensive pressing when the opposition is on the ball. Since then Liverpool have shown signs of returning to a style that shows domination of possession, however it€™s clear that the team haven€™t completely grasped this as their performances have been inconsistent. Also, Rodgers€™ insistence on a 4-3-3 formation means that Liverpool have little room for a €˜plan B€™ that Andy Carroll seemed to offer.
