Liverpool: 10 Reasons Why They Won't Win Anything This Year

3. Team Being Changed Too Much

626px-Skrtel_and_Aquilani Liverpool€™s team in recent years has suffered multiple line-up changes, examples being: Aquilani replacing Alonso, Meireles replacing Aquilani, Suarez replacing Torres etc. The only players that have been staples in the team since Benitez€™s reign are Lucas, Gerrard, Reina and three of the back four. In the space of four seasons, the club has had four different managers, all with different ideas, tactics and so on. Each manager hasn€™t had much time to implement their style, or much time to add to the squad. Instead, in each reign it€™s been more of a dissolution of the squad and then trying to build it from scratch. All in all, Liverpool need to keep Rodgers. Whether or not you agree with his tactics or how he works, there is no doubt that the current team needs to be under one manager for a couple of years and, more importantly, to stay as a team for a few years. Only then will Liverpool see the results and hopefully silverware.
