4. Playing Attractive Football
This might go without saying but Liverpool now play fluid attractive football. This seemed like it was going to be huge ask as at the start of the season some players didn't look comfortable on the ball as they dropped points to West Brom and Manchester City at the start of the season. A huge part of this was bringing in Joe Allen from his former club Swansea, for the
hefty price of £15 million. He sets the tempo at the heart of the midfield with simple little passes in the build up and allows the full backs and others to push forward. By the end of the season there was a real maturity about Liverpool with the ball and also a clinical edge up front meaning in some scintillating performances.
