5. Liverpool Dont Seem To Want Him
The whole nature of his original transfer to Liverpool is decorated with desperation more so than actual desire. A last minute, high expense, paper decided replacement for the departing Fernando Torres without much prior consideration, it wasnt like Liverpool really wanted him just that he was the easiest person to contact on short notice. Since then he has struggled to breach the first team and even then has had to deal with tactics that dont suit him, suggesting that he was never part of their plans and a £35 million transfer cant make him that way. Everyone knows that a player playing in a club that wants him there will be more of a success as he can grow in to the role they desire him for, in a hostile environment, second choice, maybe third choice he will never be able to reach his potential in both terms of confidence and ability. With Andy Carroll's specific skill set he could be a real force, however whilst at the red half of Merseyside the idea of him being a threat is simply a pipe dream, he needs to move on to let Liverpool put an embarrassing ordeal behind them, and him become the player he could have been two years ago. So what do you think? Do you think this is Andy Carrolls chance to reinvent his career, or does he still have a place at Liverpool? Comment below!
