Man City Transfers: 5 More Blockbuster Signings Manuel Pellegrini Could Make Next

1. Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Ibrahimovic Manchester City are interested in Paris Saint-Germain's Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to a recent article published in the Daily Star. The Swedish international is unhappy that PSG have just signed Edinson Cavani from Napoli and could be on the move just one year after signing from Milan. A move for the prolific 30-year-old would mean City would boast five strikers next season, giving them the most dangerous attack force in the Premier League. Ibrahimovic may by 30 but he has by no means lost his ruthlessness in front of goal. Last season, he netted a scorching 30 goals in 34 Ligue 1 outings, and finished the season as the leading goalscorer in France. He also scored three times in the Champions League during PSG's run in the competition and created five assists. Last month, Chelsea were reportedly interested in signing City's Edin Dzeko, who was used mostly as an impact substitute at the Etihad last season. That could create space for Ibrahimovic, but even if the Bosnian stays in Manchester, the Swedish international would still be a terrific recruit and would leave Premier League defenders quaking in their boots next season.
