3. Luis Suarez
Liverpool's Luis Suarez emerged as a
shock Manchester City target last month, and while Reds fans would clearly react furiously at the very notion their top goalscorer could switch Merseyside with Manchester, they shouldn't completely rule out the prospect. City have form when it comes to raiding over clubs for their star players, just ask Arsene Wenger, who saw Samir Nasri depart the Emirates in the summer of 2011 to join Roberto Mancini's revolution. Liverpool are finding it increasingly difficult in keeping hold of Suarez,
who has ambitions to play in the Champions League. Brendan Rodgers' side look like missing out on Europe yet again this term, and it remains to be seen how much longer the Uruguayan is prepared to exercise patience with Rodger's new era. City would have to prepare themselves for his fiery temperament, however. Suarez could create the same off-the-field problems Mario Balotelli did throughout his tenure at the club. The Uruguayan was caught on camera
punching an opponent this week.
